Major Mullen Assumes Command of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade Headquarters Company

Maj. Codi Anne Mullen assumed command of Headquarters Company, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, during a ceremony at Camp Courtney on Jan. 13, 2026. The activation of the new headquarters company strengthens the brigade’s ability to support command-and-control functions in a forward-deployed environment. Mullen brings operational, logistics, and planning experience to the role, having previously served in command and staff assignments across the Marine Corps. The designation supports 3rd MEB’s mission to maintain readiness and deter aggression in the Indo-Pacific region.
