Brig. Gen. Paul J. Kennedy, left, presents Sara Britton with a certificate of appreciation for her dedicated work as a family readiness assistant for 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade April 30 at Camp Courtney. As a family readiness assistant, Britton served 153 hours, working hand-in-hand with the family readiness officer to assist service members and families of 3rd MEB, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Britton is a Portland, Maine native. Kennedy is the commanding general of 3rd MEB.
