Brig. Gen. Craig Q. Timberlake stands in front of his troops during the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade reactivation ceremony here Dec. 13. During the ceremony, Timberlake activated 3rdMEB, III Marine Expeditionary Force, and became commanding general, 3rd MEB, in addition to being the deputy commanding general of III MEF. 3rd MEB will be fully functional by the end of 2012
