121121-M-TR505-378 CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa, Japan – 1st Lt. Miyamoto Naoya takes part in a Watch Officer, Watch Chief and Battle Staff Training Course here Nov. 14-21. The course is provided by the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Integrated Systems Training Center and designed to improve unit readiness and ability to respond to contingencies in the Asia-Pacific. This will allow Marines with the 3rd MEB and members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force to more effectively command and control forces assigned to them in the event of a crisis or contingency. Naoya is a platoon commander with the 11th Infantry Regiment.
