121121-M-TR505-374 CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa, Japan – Maj. David Adamiec, Maj. William Schrader and 1st Lt. Yushi Nakamura (top to bottom) take part in a Watch Officer, Watch Chief and Battle Staff Training Course here Nov. 14-21. The course is provided by the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Integrated Systems Training Center and designed to improve unit readiness and ability to respond to contingencies in the Asia-Pacific. This will allow Marines with the 3rd MEB and members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force to more effectively command and control forces assigned to them in the event of a crisis or contingency. Adamiec is the Air Operations Officer with the 3rd MEB, Schrader is the Information Operations Officer with the 3rd MEB and Nakamura is a platoon commander with the 14th Engineer Unit.
