Marines and Sailors with the 3D Marine Expeditionary Brigade brought toys and lunch to the Niji Home for children with special needs in Okinawa, Japan on May 7th in honor of Children's Day as part of our resiliency mission. Marines and Sailors donated dolls, squeeze toys, stuffed animals, as well as fried chicken, pasta, brownies and cookies to the children. Pictured are Staff Sgt. Spendia Herrera, 3D MEB G-4 Distribution Management Chief, and Cpl. Juan Salgado, 3D MEB G-4 Logistics Non-Commissioned Officer. 3D MEB remains resilient, ready and relevant as the first to respond in crisis, and first to help our neighbors in need!
